The Lumiere table lamp combines history and innovation

In 1990, Rodoifo Dordoni designed Lumiere for Foscarini, combining history and innovation, both classic and avant-garde. In 2020, Lumiere, who is 30 years old, is still radiant in the elegant new clothes designed for her by Dordoni. She continues the previous tradition with a hand-blown glass lampshade with a cast aluminium triangular base. A special diamond-shaped mould gives its shade an elegant pattern and a unique texture.

Made of selected H65 brass, with ingenuity and originality, it can withstand the erosion of time, and it becomes more and more durable with the precipitation of the years. The selected glass lampshade makes the light strong without hurting the eyes, simple and elegant, and the effect is mild. The central column of the lamp is an electroplated pure copper lamp body, which is simple and natural, and full of modern and fashionable features. The Lumiere desk lamp holder is also made of H65 brass after careful work, and the lamp holder is extremely stable.
